After feeling so girly & pink one day, I felt like I needed to work in some blues and greens the next. I still had to wear a dress, but I felt a little tomboyish. Does this tell you anything about how tomboyish I actually was growing up? Let's just say that I read well over a hundred books one summer and practiced my violin every day. Yeah. Getting really into camping/hiking/running/etc. in my old(er) age was a big deal.
