Maxi dress: Made by me; Shirt: so old that I don't even know; Sandals: Payless; Hat: H&M; Belt: Thrifted; Necklace: F21Friday dawned perfectly warm and sunny*, and since Dan had the day off work, we decided to take a picnic down to the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms. It could not have been more perfect. In past years, we've caught them either a little early, a little late, too late at night, for too short of a time, etc. But this time.
This time! The weather was perfect and we had the whole afternoon to lounge by the blossoms and eat and enjoy time as a family. (Incidentally, it poured for the next two days and blew off most of the flowers, so it was perfect timing.)
Have I mentioned I really love warm weather? And family time? Because I do.
*Yes, yes, I've blathered on about the gorgeous weather way too much, blah blah blah.

I'm loving the pattern mixing in this outfit! Those photos are making me miss DC, big time. Your son is just precious, Preethi!

ReplyDeleteWe love the photos, especially the one of Nat looking so focused on something far distant from the camera and in a totally different direction. He looks so thoughtful. He's a nice little boy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun pattern mix -- but then again, I believe stripes go with just about everything. The cherry blossoms are amazing. :)
